CheerLights Stream Deck Plugin: Animated Bubbles and Aurora

Posted on June 19, 2026 By Hans Scharler No Comments on CheerLights Stream Deck Plugin: Animated Bubbles and Aurora

We updated the CheerLights plugin for the Elgato Stream Deck. Two new actions, Bubbles and Aurora, animate the current CheerLights color on a key, and Get Current Color now has a Show logo toggle and more reliable color updates.

What’s New in Version 0.2.1

  • Bubbles: animated bubbles in the current CheerLights color. An Animation Speed setting, from 1 to 5, sets how fast they move.
  • Aurora: a slow, drifting aurora in the current CheerLights color.
  • Get Current Color: a Show logo toggle puts the CheerLights logo over the color, or leaves the key a solid color. Color updates are also more reliable, and pressing the key refreshes it right away.

Each action checks for a new color on an Update Interval you set, from 15 to 60 seconds (30 by default). Put all three on your Stream Deck, and every key changes when someone picks a new color on the CheerLights Discord.

Install CheerLights from the Elgato Marketplace. Version 0.2.1 needs Stream Deck 6.9 or later, on macOS 10.15 or later or Windows 10 or later.
